First, fetishizing a notebook is silly - inside is a place for your ideas and creative content, it doesn’t have to be a fashion accessory. Second, law of diminishing returns. Do you vulcanize the rubber for your tires yourself? No, because someone else can do it much more efficiently and let you focus on where you need to go.
