Am I old school for thinking you should pick the best person for the job?

As Paul Begala pointed out, she’s a first-term governor in a state with more reindeer than people and considering McCain’s age and medical history she’s a loud cough away from being the president.  This is beyond a headline-grabbing gimmick, it’s insulting to the literally hundreds of people (including Conservative women) more qualified for the job.
