Oh my goodness! I’ve never met anyone who shared my hatred for this word. “Relax”, “Calm down”, “Chill out”, “Be quiet”, and “Shhh” are my trigger words. Basically I go all “Call me an asshole… ONE more time” on them, and it’s not too pretty. I don’t know what it is about hearing these words that consumes me, but I’m pretty sure I turn green and the whole bit.
