Hemingway’s Bar, Los Angeles California

I shot this photo of Hemingway’s last night - the walls are set with (real) books, manuscripts, and vintage typewriters, and DJs spin anything but Top 40s, from Violent Femmes and Masta Ace to Warren G and Passion Pit. No bottles being popped (or the obligatory fireworks and flashlights that accompany them at every other club), no embroidered jeans or button-down silk shirts, and no drunk bitches dancing on tables like their next meal depends on it (even though it sometimes does)… just a cool bar with stiff drinks and interesting people.

It’s definitely becoming one of my favorite places in Hollywood.
