Final Cut Studio 3 Released

Check out what’s new here. A lot of much-needed features to make it a little less out of date, but it’s 2 years late and a half-point update at best. Outdated GUI, no improvement to media organization or capture and logging. DVD Studio Pro hasn’t seen a noticable update since 2006, no Blu-Ray [authoring] support, poor scripting and interactivity control, almost non-existent flash support, Color still has the ghetto fabulous Final Touch UI… The best features they can showcase in this update are colour-coded markers and a timecode window? Seriously?

And it’s still a 32-bit carbon suite of applications?! It’s 2009, what the fuck Apple?! Get your head out of your iPhone profiteering ass and make some solid professional tools.
